Kansas City,

This is my home, and I am running for City Council because I believe our city deserves leadership that truly gets it.

I have lived in both North and South Kansas City and have seen firsthand the strengths of our neighborhoods and the challenges we share. As a prosecutor, judge, and housing leader, I have spent my career listening to people, solving problems, and delivering results. I've worked with families seeking safe housing, stood up for victims, held offenders accountable, and made difficult decisions based on fairness and facts.

I know what Kansas Citians expect because I've spent my career serving them. I get it.

I am prepared to step in and get to work fixing what is not working and building on what is working, including safer neighborhoods, better streets and sidewalks, more affordable, safe housing, and a city government that focuses on the basics.

Because when it comes to the challenges facing our city and the opportunities ahead, I get it.
