Kansas City,
This is my home, and I am running for City Council because I believe our city deserves leadership that is proven, prepared, and ready to deliver real results.
I have lived in both North and South Kansas City and have seen firsthand the strengths of our communities and the challenges we share. I am prepared to step in and get to work fixing what is not working and building on what is working, including safer neighborhoods, better streets and sidewalks, and more affordable safe housing for people across our city, no matter your area code.
I am also ready to stand with the first responders who protect our communities every day, and to ensure city government is accountable to the people it serves.
-Jane Pansing Brown

Jane broke barriers as Clay County's first female judge, championing fairness for everyone.

After the September 11 attacks, Jane answered the call to serve as a federal prosecutor, working to hold bad actors accountable.

Jane served as the city’s first Director of the Housing Department, where she secured millions of dollars in investment.
